MINUTES OF
HELD
AT THE TOWN OF
DECEMBER 8, 2011
Meeting called to order at 9:15 A.M. by Acting Chairman Mike Matushak.
Present: Town Supervisors Mike Matushak & Scott Voigt and Harry Tubbin.
Chairman Burgener & Rodney Gutenberger excused.
Also present: Rod Akey and Terry Sukow.
Rod reported Ice Blocks have been installed on the Community Center and a change
order issued for Ice Blocks on the North end of the new garage.
Mike reported RTL would install outside lighting on the East and South ends of the Community Center, under the gables, at a cost of $1500.00. Decision made to install
the lights.
Discussion held regarding the need for outdoor picnic tables. Matter will be looked
into to decide on wood or metal tables.
“Town of Merrill Community Center” reflective sign has been received and Terry will
erect at the corner of
Terry reported the need for a heat register being installed in the mechanical room. Decision made to install.
Rug service was also discussed, rather than purchasing and cleaning our own. Scott
to check with various services.
Terry also suggested spending just one day a week cleaning the Community Center, except when it was necessary to get the hall ready for back to back rentals. It was agreed
he would be at the hall on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. This would also save
Stacy time running for people to pick up the keys, as he would be available.
Next meeting to be held Thursday, January 5, 2012, 9:00 A.M. Discussion on the following:

Attracting businesses to the “

3. Contracting for rug service.
