MINUTES OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING AND SPECIAL

MEETING OF ELECTORS HELD AT THE MERRILL TOWN HALL

NOVEMBER 14, 2011

PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING:

Chairman Burgener called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call:  Chairman Bill Burgener, Supervisors Simon, Matushak, Pettit & Voigt, as

well as Clerk and Constable in attendance.           Treasurer excused.

Also present:  Sign In Sheet

The Proposed Town of Merrill 2012 Budget was discussed line by line.  Scott Streich

asked if Town would be receiving any Tornado disaster aid.  Pettit stated Town will

possibly be receiving approximately $35,000.00.  Following discussion,  Rodney Gutenberger made motion “to adjourn the Public Budget Hearing”.  Motion  2^nd by

Roger Anderson.  Motion carried  on a voice vote.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS:

Meeting called to order.

2011 Levy (Payable in 2012):  Levy was discussed, with Rodney Gutenberger making motion “to adopt the Town Levy of $280,128.00”.  Motion 2^nd by Al Handlin.  Motion

carried by a voice vote..

Motion by Mark Handlin “to adjourn”  Motion 2^nd by Roger Anderson.  Motion carried

on a voice vote..  Chairman adjourned the Special Town Meeting of Electors.
